Spring brings with it a familiar joy and optimism for those long-awaited warmer and brighter days to come; here at the nursery, we’ve been embracing the new season with open arms after such a long, wet and windy winter. It’s a delight to stroll through our courtyards and undercover areas, taking in the vibrant new growth and emerging buds of trees and shrubs; and the annual excitement of seeing the thousands of perennials and bedding plants we’ve nurtured through the winter, making their way out of our growing houses and onto our displays, never diminishes.

Our shop inspires the senses with many beautiful things for your home and garden, and as the reputation for our thoughtfully-curated range of ceramics, textiles, books and giftware grows, so does our desire to source ever-more inspiring pieces to bring you.

We have an exciting brand new space housing all our garden sundries under one roof which is waiting to serve you exactly what you need: whether it be a spade, a connector for your hosepipe or food for your roses.

In closing, we must mention our quite spectacular view across Rutland Water. It keeps our reserves of joy and optimism topped up every single day of the year – no matter the season.
